DECEMBER 12, 2010: AMERICAN SESSIONS.
Drawing on the American "Blues & Roots" influences that first enchanted him as a teenager, Mitch Grainger has produced some of his finest recordings to date. Based in Los Angeles over the past six months Mitch has been jamming, writing and recording with a host of America's finest "Blues & Roots" musicians, including, Debra Dobkin, Mark Goldberg, Hutch Hutchinson, Rosa Pullman, Jay Dee Maness, Arlan Schierbaum, James Gadson, Lou Castro and many more.
This set of recordings are Mitch's first studio performances captured in over four years. Due for release to members of mitchgrainger.com in February 2011, with a commercial release to be scheduled soon after.
